As a 3rd-year Communication Design major with a concentration in Visual Design at California State University, Monterey Bay, I am deeply passionate about product design, UI/UX, and front-end web development. My academic work blends visual communication, interaction design, and design strategy, allowing me to approach creative challenges with both aesthetic sensitivity and technical understanding. Through my coursework and independent projects, I’ve strengthened my skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Figma, VS Code, and the Adobe Creative Suite, applying them to design thoughtful, user-centered digital experiences.
My background in visual design continues to shape the way I approach problem-solving—whether that’s crafting intuitive interfaces, developing cohesive brand systems, or translating complex ideas into clean, effective visual narratives. I enjoy working across both design and code, using prototyping and iterative workflows to refine solutions that balance usability and visual quality.
Beyond my academic experience, I work on campus as a student assistant for both Marketing, where I support digital communications, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to design-related tasks that enhance the campus community’s online presence. I am also an active member of the Sigma Omega Nu sorority, where I currently serve as the Commissioner of Public Relations, Alumni Relations, and Historian. In this role, I’ve led a variety of digital content initiatives—including designing and building the organization’s website, managing promotional campaigns, and creating multimedia assets that strengthen the sorority’s brand identity.
These combined experiences in design, programming, and leadership have shaped my commitment to creating accessible, engaging, and meaningful digital products. I strive to build work that not only functions well, but leaves a positive and lasting impact on the people who use it.
